Chapter 29: SuNdAY FUNDaY

sunny 21 °C

BEST SUNDAY EVER- as titled by our new aussie/kiwi friends. We were a rag-tag group of aussie, brit, israeli, kiwi and canadians that convened on the sunny patio where we decided we had to find food and the local beer gardens. Being sunday, the first local store we found open was Pho which suited us fine, and we dragged ourselves up the park hill for a delicious picnic. Once fed and rested we went through the park, which had a pretty great playground, we found the biggest beer garden! Despite playing loud grunge music (we were in the grunge neighbourhood of Prague), it had beach volleyball, badminton and even a mini playground for the kids. We threw around our frisbee and some local kids shyly tried joining in for a while. We made our way back just in time for happy hour (very important) and continued meeting many friendly, fun and interesting travellers from around the globe.
